"The memory board Anita Larson created for Mile Hi Church, in honor of our 50th Anniversary, is truly a work of heart! She beautifully captured the essence of Mile Hi - that our church is the people and that deeply, we ARE one!" - Marcella Nordbeck, Ministry of Service Office, Mile Hi Church
"Anita made me two collages to celebrate a life that was taken too soon from ALS. One of them was going to Bruce Hornsby for whom this person had worked for. When I first saw it, it brought tears to my eyes. It was tears of joy because of how she captured that person’s life in that collage, having worked for Bruce for many years. The pictures, the 3D effect, all of it just flowed together. The other one was made for the husband and it captured their life as husband and wife. The collages are something these people will have forever. It’s really true with the saying: “ a picture is worth a thousand words”. That’s what Anita captures on these collages". - Mary C., Littleton, CO
Your collages are not just beautiful, they actually carry the essence of the soul. – Christy Wessler, Centennial, CO
“I cannot even begin to describe how much we love the memorial art of Maggie & Woody. Thank you for making something so special. We will cherish it forever!” – Beth Patrick, Highlands Ranch, CO
“Anita is the only person I know who can put feelings of love and loss into a form of art that shows what the loved one was like, using mementos of their life. She has helped me take my dad's personal items out of a drawer and display them in a way that when I look at it, I remember who he was and what he enjoyed doing. Somehow his pocket knife, small spiral notebook and pictures of his life bring him back to me in a way that touches my heart. When the grandkids ask me, "What was Papa Olsen like?" I can show them through the things he treasured.” – Barb Walker, Aurora, CO
“Our dog Logray will always be in our hearts but now we will always be reminded of his loving spirit and devotion to our family. Anita's masterpiece captured the fun we had with him and makes me smile fondly each time I see it. Thank you Anita!” - Mindy Hanson, Evergreen Colorado
“Even now, over a year after my beloved pal, Asher, left me for that great dog park in the sky, I still get a lump in my throat each time I glance at the incredible memory board that Anita made for me. Asher's personality and our incredible partnership just glows in the arrangement she created. I display it just inside my front door with his old collar and tags hanging on it. He is surely missed but always remembered this way. Thank you, Anita, for such a daily reminder I can display proudly.” - Mary Jo Fay, RN, MSN, Colorado
